Allow Teams to Create their Own Spaces
Last week I was visiting Steelcase headquarters and was given a sneak peak at the brand new Flex collection. The idea behind Flex is to enable teams to reconfigure their working spaces “on the fly” by themselves. Everything, including the height-adjustable desks, is built from the ground up to be easily movable.
The concept originated from the Steelcase IT group that uses the Agile work methodology to take on all their projects. Agile works best if teams have full control over their working spaces.
