Job Description
As a Workplace Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping organizations transform their workspaces into environments where employees thrive. Your responsibilities will include prospecting new clients, presenting our services to decision-makers and industry influencers, and closing deals. With comprehensive hands-on training provided, you will become an expert in our various furniture product lines and the sales process within the interiors industry. Responsibilities

Salary + Commission. This position offers a competitive salary plus commission, providing high earning potential based on sales performance. Audio Visual Lead Technician

Job Description

Create Spaces is seeking a skilled Audio Visual (AV) and Communications Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio visual and communications systems. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the successful implementation and operations of AV solutions.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and test audio visual communications equipment, including but not limited to projectors, displays, audio systems, video conferencing systems, digital signage, and network infrastructure.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure that installations meet client requirements and are completed within established timelines and budget constraints.
Perform site surveys to assess environmental conditions, identify equipment placement locations, and determine cabling requirements.
Terminate and test audio, video and data cables, ensuring proper signal flow and compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with AV and communications systems, identifying root causes and implementing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
Provide technical support to end-users, including training on system operation and troubleshooting guidance.
Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, installation configurations, and service history.
Assist in the design and layout of AV systems, offering input on equipment selection, wiring diagrams, and installation best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and product advancements in audio visual and communications technology.
Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is a plus. AVIXA CTS, CTS-I, are a huge plus.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in audio visual and communications installation and support.
Proficiency in the installation and configuration of AV equipment, including familiarity with mounting hardware, cabling, and signal routing.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
Experience with audio and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and related peripherals.
Familiarity with networking concepts, IP addressing, and network protocols.
Basic understanding of construction practices and the ability to interpret architectural drawings and wiring diagrams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as project requirements dictate.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Designer

Job Description

Create Spaces is an authorized Steelcase dealer and is seeking talented design professionals to join our team. Our designers use industry-specific software for commercial space planning and furniture selection/specificiation. Our designers are an integral part of our selling process and work closely with our sales team to create, present, and sell dynamic office space solutions to our customers and prospects. Responsibilities

Become a technical expert on commercial furniture and architectural wall solutions
Design detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings
Curate interior spaces by selecting products, textiles, fabrics, finishes, and accessories
Manage the design queue to effectively prioritize, delegate, and deliver design projects decisively.
Communicate effectively with the design team and customers.
Present and design live and customers and sales team members

Qualifications

1 year minimum of design experience
Bachelor's degree preferred. A degree in interior design or related field is a bonus.
Experience in CET Configura, AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketchup
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail is a must
